Welcome to my first blog
My name is Amar Nur Ahmad. I'm a 3rd semester student
majoring in travel business. I want to tell my interesting experience about
traveling on the island of dutungan and the coast of paputo.
Happy readingJ
On 10-11 October 2019, my classmate and I of the
Department of Travel and Tourism carried out Marine field activities in Pulau
Dutungan (Barru Regency) and Paputo Beach (Pare Pare City). We traveled during
2D1N. And before we do the marine trip we do the meeting first. We gathered on
campus (the Makassar state tourism polytechnic) at 06.00 and our tour leader
gave direction and gave us other tour equipment and made a roll call. Then we
left the campus at 07.00 and left for Pulau Dutungan, Barru Regency.
The trip to the new district of Makassar takes about 3
hours. And from Barru district to the island of dutungan it takes 5-7 minutes
by boat. Arriving in the new district we were divided into two groups because
only one boat was used while we numbered 38 people.
We arrived at the island of dutungan and our tour
leader took direction and told us all to change clothes and gather at the edge
of the pier to hear directions from the guide with material about the
procedures and rules what pasa did while snorkeling and diving.
After diving I continued to snorkel with aids such as
buoys, swimming goggles and breathing apparatus. Unlike diving, snorkeling is
easier to do. I am very happy because this is my first experience and I got
many lessons on how to do snorkeling and diving properly. And if we dive and
snorkel according to the rules then you will remain safe.
After the activities on the island of dutungan were
over we left the dutungan and got ready to go to the pomegranate sari hotel in
pare pare. The second day's activities began with morning exercise walking from
the pomegranate hotel to the habibie and Ainun monuments and after morning
exersais preparations to check out the hotel and have breakfast
